Physician Reviewers

Board-certified, actively practicing physicians with unrestricted medical licenses can make an important contribution to patient care and safety by reviewing medical records for VHQC.

VHQC physician reviewers perform case review on an as-needed basis at VHQC or at their home or office. Assignments can range from assessing the need for an experimental or investigational treatment to determining whether care met accepted standards of quality, or deciding whether a patient is medically ready to be discharged from a healthcare facility.
