Donald A. Glozer, MHA, FACHE
President & Chief Executive Officer

Don Glozer is fully grounded in the business of healthcare. A hospital and health system administrator for more than 20 years, he is a fellow in the American college of Healthcare Executives and a creative problem-solver with a talent for building high-performing teams and improving organizational efficiency. Before joining VHQC, Don was Chief Operating Officer at Primaris, the Missouri Quality Improvement Organization. He earned a Master of Health Services Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Youngstown State University.

Sallie S. Cook, MD
Chief Medical Officer

Sallie Cook is a board-certified pathologist with a subspecialty in transfusion medicine and is past president of both the American Health Quality Association and Virginians Improving Patient Care and Safety. Her clinical expertise and nearly 20 years of Quality Improvement Organization industry experience allow VHQC to offer clients effective solutions that engage physicians. Sallie led the team that created the Virginia Chartered Value Exchange and served on the task force that oversaw the development of Virginia's electronic health record demonstration project. She earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where she also served a residency in clinical and anatomic pathology and fellowship in immunohematology. Sallie holds a bachelor's degree in biology, Phi Beta Kappa, from Westhampton College of the University of Richmond.

Sharyn P. Hunt, MBA, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

VHQC's well-managed finances are the result of Shary Hunt's diligence and professionalism. Her additional experience in contract administration means that our clients enjoy a smooth working relationship, from clearly structured terms and fair pricing to timely deliverables and accurate invoices. Shary's strong technical background includes a Master of Science in biochemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Business Administration from Loyola College in Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Delaware. She is a certified public accountant with Fortune 500 experience.

Thelma M. Baker, MSHA, RHIA, CPHQ
Senior Director, Patient Safety

Our clients' most complex challenges meet their match in Thelma Baker, a credentialed expert in healthcare administration, health information administration, and healthcare quality improvement. Thelma's immersion in the Medicare Prospective Payment System means that VHQC solutions reflect an understanding of the bottom line, too. Before joining us, she worked for the Massachusetts Quality Improvement Organization and as a hospital health information manager. Thelma earned a master's degree in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor's degree in medical record administration from East Carolina University.

Jennifer H. Brockman, MS, ABC
Director, Communications & Organizational Growth

Jenni Brockman's diverse skill set includes strategic planning, marketing communications, public relations and social marketing. She is particularly adept at helping clients distill technical information into messages that motivate action by patients and clinicians. Jenni previously worked for an advertising agency, the Duke and VCU medical centers, and the North Carolina Quality Improvement Organization. She earned a master's degree from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Bryn Mawr College. Jenni is accredited in business communication (ABC) by the International Association of Business Communicators.

Letha Fisher, MSN, RN, CHC
Director, Prevention

Letha Fishers clinical experience and deep background in quality improvement translate into actionable strategies for better preventive healthcare. A Six Sigma Yellow Belt with Certification in Healthcare Compliance, she has applied her expertise in project management, team facilitation, and lean healthcare processes to inpatient and outpatient care delivered by VCU Healthcare System, Carilion and the Virginia Department of Health. Letha earned a masters degree in nursing, summa cum laude, from Jefferson College of Health Sciences and a bachelors degree in nursing, with honors, from Old Dominion University.

Dev J. Nair, PhD, MPH
Director, Clinical Review Services

Dev Nair's experience in managed behavioral healthcare extends VHQC's capabilities to clients who want to improve behavioral health services or integrate them with medical care. A licensed clinical psychologist, Dev led the quality improvement function at Magellan Health Services and served as deputy director of the Georgia Medicaid Program. He earned a doctorate and a master's with honors, both in clinical psychology, from DePaul University. Dev also holds an MPH in health management and policy from Georgia State University and a bachelor's in psychology, cum laude, from the University of Dayton.

Robin L. Weil, RN, MSHA, CPHQ
Director, Prevention QIO Support Center

Robin Weil has been part of the Quality Improvement Organization industry since its inception, with experience and expertise that span medical case review and quality improvement. She currently directs the national Prevention QIO Support Center, which provides the nation's 53 QIOs with the tools and information they need to help physician practices use electronic health records to improve preventive care. She holds a master's degree in health administration and a bachelor's degree in health care management from Virginia Commonwealth University. Robin earned her nursing degree from Essex Community College.

Heidi J. White, MBA, SPHR
Director, Human Resources

Heidi White brings Fortune 500 savvy to VHQC's human resources function. Her proven ability to recruit specialized talent was honed in competitive, labor-intensive industries that include banking and manufacturing. Heidi's skill in administering professional development and retention programs means that clients can expect well-trained, cohesive project teams. Heidi holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Business Administration in industrial relations from the University of Wisconsin. A Six Sigma Green Belt, she also is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
